Accessibility of the site

Accessibility Policy

The Le Bischenberg site has been designed with respect to web standards defined by W3C, in particular as regards directives for accessibility to web contents decreed by Web Accessibility Initiative. Owing to this, this site is accessible all internet surfers, including over fifties or the disabled with functional limitations.

Text size adjustment

The small font can make reading on the internet difficult for some users. You can increase or diminish the size of the text by pushing on the Ctrl key and the scroll wheel or by the specific functions of your navigator.

A size by default is defined for each textual element of the site. You are able to adjust it from the navigator function:

Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla : « Display » Menu, then « Size of Text ».

Netscape Navigator 6 and above : « Display », then "Zoom text".

Compatibility with navigators

The Le Bischenberg site is ergonomically best with navigators of the most recent generations while remaining accessible to older navigators. If you experience difficulties reading the site, you can deactivate the CSS style sheets (see your navigator options). The Le Bischenberg site remains fully usable, only the presentation is affected.

Avoidance menu

This is a matter of a rapid navigation menu placed at the beginning of each of our pages. It is useful for internet surfers who navigate vocally or when the CSS style sheets are de-activated. It contains a list of links enabling direct access to the part of the page looked for (navigation, content, identification...) without having to run through the entire page for all desired information.

Keyboard shortcuts

For internet surfers who do not use a mouse, keyboard shortcuts enable the simple navigation in the site:
0 = Accessibility policy
1 = Site welcome
5 = Main page content
6 = Ariadne’s thread to find your way in the site
7 = Legal information
8 = Navigation menu
